Well, it’s almost March 17th and that means St Patrick’s day festivities will soon be upon us. While you can go to the source for Toronto St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 16th, you may want something a little closer to your finger tips. Or at least your Windows Phone screen.
So, for starters, if you haven’t already, you may consider changing your phone’s accent colour to green or emerald.
Now that that’s out of the way, we can get down to the important stuff. The apps.
It’s always a stressful thing, figuring out what to do, and having a little help is definitely welcome. Why not check out Toronto Events and Festivals to see what’s happening in the city, and since you’re likely still near a computer, you can even do it on Windows 8.1.
If events aren’t your thing, maybe dinner out is more appropriate? If so, be sure to check out DineSafer. It’s always a good idea to know about where you’re eating before you get there. It’s also a good idea to plan ahead if you’ll be drinking. Making sure you have enough for the cab is always a good idea, so before you stop at the bank check with Taxi Fare Estimates to see just how much you should take out. Of course, should you want to save a few nickels, you could consider taking the TTC or GO.
Once you’ve gotten to your destination, feel free to offer a toast. Just be sure to practice before hand. Not everyone speaks Gaelic, but you may run into a few.
The Beat Goes On…
But eventually the night will end. So break out those transit apps one more time, or dig into that safety fund you grabbed earlier and call a cab.
